Macs aren’t virus resistant, but they are pretty protected and are constantly being updated with patches and security measures by Apple. It does have a active malware scanner feature that does its job. I feel as though they come with lots of bloatware too.ĬleanMyMac X was made exclusively for Mac and is simple to use. Why?: Although the other antivirus softwares do their job, they also slow down the system, using lots of CPU and Ram. After testing/using many different software, I have come to the decision on scrapping all of them only using CleanMyMac X. I’m super paranoid of getting viruses, especially on a machine I spent over 3k on. Probably mostly all of them that are Mac supported.
