UPKs seem mandatory atm, which is just great, since I just got the game. 1 person says you can't repack UPKs, meanwhile another is repacking them for other games through elaborate means, and so on. Google had me running around on a wild goose chase. Couldn't figure out how to turn these dds files into UPKs. I didn't see changes to the ladies when I looked for them, while the game was still running, but I only had enough time to look once the game crashed already and I had to quickly fire it back up (mod/dds files were slightly gray upon rebooting, which is likely why, due to the game stopping). That's kind of BnS to let me know UPK mods are working, but I wish it would say "Okay, now run Umod and select your mod files!" UPK files are actually verified by the game, letting you know that it's going to use the modded UPKs instead of the base UPKs. Am I supposed to use a different version than v2 v49 now? UPK files work fine in the CookedPC\Nude folder. It all depends on what GameGuard and NCSoft employees think about mod/3rd-party soft.Game closes after like a minute when running Umod. For example, I use logitech's KB and mouse, and of course I use Logitech Gaming Software, which is a "3rd-party program of any kind".
Reading this answer, I can say that we can be banned for anything. And guess what answer I got? Something like "You can try, but we can ban you for this". Recently I wanted to try 3rd-party software to rebind gamepad buttons (game doesn't allow you to re-bind RT for example) and decided to ask a support about this idea (is this bannable or not). Using mods doesn't mean that you will be banned right at the moment you used it, but it increases your chances to get banned, because mod is a modification of game files. Meanwhile, people who don't use them still get banned for no reason, lol :P Whether it is bannable is debatable, as I see many people using them since the official launch of this game without getting banned. It will apply to any other Lyn who use them same ear/tail style, though.
