All recommendations I see have at least 2 games of the "Cringe Bunch" (Adopt me, Brookhaven and Pet Simulator X). I'm still hella mad at the recommendations tab, screw the front page, stuff played by 3yos and high rated stuff will be rising.īut recommendations? That should be custom for every player, but no. The front page can’t be one page anymore. It’s gotten to the point where the amount of games to play is comparable (not really, but there are a shit ton) to sites like Steam or the PlayStation store, yet go on their platforms and realize just how much more in-depth their “front page”, or methods of finding and discovering games, are. Roblox needs to fundamentally redesign the front page if they want to promote and foster “indie” Roblox games again. Back in 2010, new games were constantly showing up because there were less players, the bar to have a front page-worthy game was lower, and there were categories. The problems are more centered around the fact that it’s been 12 years and despite the player base growing exponentially, the front page hasn’t really changed enough to not just result in the same games permanently being on it. I was on Roblox back in 2010 as a kid, and so were many other kids, yet the front page was still great for finding new games.
